Yesterday and today I managed to do the final assembly. Everything finally came back from the balancers so I could get stuck into it. I got the Block, crank, rods, main caps sonic cleaned blasted and lubricated so nothing rusts. I got The pistons connected to the rods and the rings on the pistons. Today we got the cam bearings, crank, rod and pistons installed into the block. Just have to wait for the cam now so I can get it installed and dialled in and then the bottom end is complete and then I will give it a coat of paint.
Here are some pics of what I have been getting up too.

I got the CHI 2v in standard cast compleate and port matched to an edelbrock RPM Air Gap manifold. Chi also provide all the best in valves springs and retainers and all the very best names in valve train componets!
Not to bad for a standard cast head! Im going to CNC the heads in the future and put them over a stroker bottom end!

Ok another quick update! I should be ready to fire it up tomorrow! I used a couple of old mufflers to shove on the end of the headers just to quite her down a little. Just have to make sure the carby is right in the morning cause the back bowl isnt filling up with fuel so I will check that out first. Few other things to do and she is ready to start! After that all I have to do is paint up the bumpers and a few panels and shaker, then make up an aircleaner for the shaker. Then down to the exhaust shop!
Here is a few pics!

Well she has just over 500 ks on the clock now and I have ironed out all the bugs (oil leaks mainly). But me and my mechanic mate Adam redone the pinion seal in the diff one last time and totally made sure it doesn't leak. We put a service kit threw the single rail and we ended up changing the extension housing. Tightened up all the bolts that were loose and we found my camber bolt to be very loose. I will be having some words to the place where I got my wheel alignment. I put some sealant on the exhaust where the collectors meet the headers and cleaned all the oil of every thing. Done a few extra little mods and got it all sweet as and everything tight. One thing that did not go my way was the new starter I bought didn't work on my motor. We tried it with the spacer and without the spacer but kept binding up! So will have to get that sorted asap! But I drove it home from Maryborough to Hervey bay and on my last few big straigts before home she was really on song. You could just feel the pull and the car was solid on the road! Time to put some ks on it and bed in the rings! Happy Days!
Going up on the hoist to start repairs!
The box is apart ready for new seals and gaskets!
The nasty seal in the crappy extension housing!
The new starter motor that didn't work for me!
Im going to try and get some footage up of the beast running and driving soon!!

We have been road testing the Falcon today and I have been able to find most of the little bugs over the last 2 weeks! I have been bedding the rings in over the biggest hills I could find in the area! She just walks up over the steepest hills in top gear hardly touching the throttle. It has amazing pull down low and scary top end. Just another quick carby tune and she is ready to race at the Leyburn Sprints.
Here are a couple of pics!
Today!
Last weekend when I brought home the XE (The Sheriff)
The Shaker is eating Mels arm lol!

I totally forgot to make a post when I got my exhaust system installed. So here are some pics from a couple of weeks ago when I took Marduk into the exhaust shop on its very first drive on the road.
Arriving at the exhaust shop! Carline Mufflers Hervey Bay
Twin 3 inch collectors into one, 3inch mandrel bent right threw!
I got this muffler changed cause it was way to loud and had a real resinating buzz to it so I now have a Lukey Turbo Muffler.
