Got the trailing arms done for the EL diff.  I went brand new super pro bushes in the body end of the trailing arm and the best original ones on the diff end.

Got all the cables terminals crimped thanks to autobarn

20L fuel cell

Marduk needed a little tinkering so she got to meet the new edition.

Getting things tidy

Time to play with the fuel system  with new fittings and fuel lines.  Also got oil for the gear box and some grease for the shifter. A new isolator switch in there too.

Setting up the fittings on the pump

Tail shaft is cut down and balanced.  Bloody beautiful job done by Pro Port engine performance.

Another update guys!

So we pushed it out into the sun so she can bake the paint a bit. There is a lot of dents we missed but it still looks cool. Its a race car anyway so we weren't looking for a show n shine finish.

Shes a bit dusty inside but we will clean all that up.

HI everyone just thought i'd make this post to keep everyone in the loop.  I only finished the car last night and I'm getting ready to load it onto the trailer today to go to our first race with it this weekend.  I haven't had a chance to make any updates as I have been working constantly on the car.  If i'm not at work I'm in the garage working on the car Smile  So when I get home from our race this weekend expect a massive update from where I have left off till after our first race.  I also noticed stupid photobucket has broken all my links to my pics in this thread.  so there is many hours there just to fix that, god I hate photobucket!!

Anyway cheers everyone for following my thread and Just praying the car will go good this weekend at the Wondai Street Sprints.

Ok so here we done a couple of measurements so I could get a custom swaybar made.  I was using a XG Ute swaybar to measure from.

Gluing on the rest of the body kit!

I had to take off the back wheels to screw the kit on properly

using what every I could find to hold the kit to the car lol

And its done!

So its was time to start on the arse end!  Our rear coilover weren't going to arrive on time for the race so I had to borrow springs and shocks from my brother from his old XF.  The tall spring is the standard one and the 2 short black spring are from our XE (The Sheriff) which are taxi pack springs.  We used my brothers red ones.

Our Super Barra stickers arrived in the post!

I decided to make a stronger gearbox mount so I used an old Banana crossmember from a T5 speed XF Gearbox and a plate of steel.

I mounted a fuel gauge for the fuel cell and a fire extinguisher.  Also made a mount for a tablet so we can have RPM, Coolant Temp and other gauges displayed on it.

Custom swaybar arrived in the nick of time.  You can see the difference from the XG to the custom one.  Also check out how thick it is.
